"The Pain We Can't Heal" with Brigitte Berry

Brigitte and I met after I applied to become a speaker at TEDxSaint Thomas. A supporter of both the podcast and blog, she very bravely approached me wanting to openly discuss her story and her personal experience with her father's suicide.

In the episode, Brigitte and I discuss the depth and difficulty of navigating mental health struggles: both the ones we've experienced individually and the ones we've seen our loved ones go through. As native Virgin Islanders, we discuss the difficulty of navigating mental health through limited resources and community/cultural stigma.
